2014-16 ModelsThe water cooled R1200RS requires slightly different wiring than previous models.
Remove the rear seat and connect the controller's red wire to the green/white wire in the connector block at the front of the seat area, as shown in this photo of the underseat area and the close-up below..
Next, connect the controller's white wire to the top/center (gray/black/yellow) wire going into the tail/brake light housing at the rear of the bike, and connect the controller's black wire to the brown wire as shown in this photo of the Tail/Brake Light Wires..
